The properties were completed in March 2006 and all have ground source heat pumps installed to provide heating and hot water.
The properties are also connected to rainwater harvesting systems which collect rainwater for use in flushing toilets etc.
All properties are connected to a private sewage treatment plant and tenants pay a service charge in addition to the weekly rent to cover the costs of servicing and maintaining the treatment plant.
The average weekly rents at April 2011 were as follows:
Three bedroom houses: £96.12
Two bedroom houses: £87.58
Two bedroom flats: £85.26
Two bedroom bungalow: £87.58
We are very proud of the fact that the Launceston Civic Society chose this development as the winner of its 2006 Architectural and Conservation Award.
We will give priority for rehousing in these properties firstly to households with a connection to the parish of Tresmeer and secondly to households with a connection to one of the immediately adjoining parishes.
