Polperro CRHA owns 12 properties at Pleydon Close, Killigarth, Polperro - 1 four bedroom house, 7 three bedroom houses, 2 two bedroom flats and 2 two bedroom bungalows. The two bedroom flats were designed to meet the needs of childless couples and/or single people. Two of the three bedroom houses are smaller 4 person homes, the remainder being designed for an occupancy of 5 persons. The properties were acquire in March 2003 as an "off the shelf" package from a private developer who based the designs on our development at Luffman Close, Pelynt. All of the properties have open fires and oil-fired central heating. They are also all connected to a private sewage treatment plant for which tenants pay a service charge in addition to the weekly rent to cover the costs of servicing and maintaining the treatment plant.
