Old Town, St Mary's CRHA's properties at Old Town, St Mary's were built in two phases. Phase 1 was completed in April 1990 and consists of 4 three bedroom houses and 2 two bedroom houses. These properties have oil-fired central heating and open fires. Phase 2 was completed in January 2006 and consists of 2 three bedroom houses, 2 two bedroom houses and 22 two bedroom bungalows. These properties have ground source heat pumps providing heating and hot water. The hot water supply is supplemented by roof -mounted solar panels. All properties are also connected to a rainwater harvesting system which collects rainwater and recycles it for use in flushing toilets etc.
