Morwenstow CRHA owns 13 properties at West Beckon Close, Shop, Morwenstow - The first phase was completed in March 1993 and and consist of 4 three bedroom houses and 2 two bedroom houses. All but one property have oil-fired central heating and open fires. In the remaining property we have replaced the oil-fired system with an electric boiler supplemented with a solar thermal system. The second phase of seven homes was completed during August 2008. It consists of 2 three bedroom houses, 2 two bedroom houses, 1 two bed bungalow and 2 two bedroom flats (designed for childless couples and/or single people). The recent properties feature ground source heat pumps with the houses and the bungalow also having a wood burning stove in the living room.
