Bryher, Isles of Scilly
CRHA owns two 3 bedroom houses at Church Quay on Bryher.
These two homes were completed in September 2010 and have the dual distinction of being the first ever affordable housing built on Bryher, as well as being the most south westerly social housing in the country!
They meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 and
feature:
· high levels of insulation
· hot water provided by a solar thermal system
· wood-burning stoves which also provide heating via radiators
· back-up electric panel heaters
· rainwater harvesting systems
